"On behalf of the Zoological Society of San Diego, the Center for Reproduction of Endangered Species (CRES), and the Steering Committee, it is our pleasure to thank you for making the "Celebration for the Critters 2000" the best looking party in history. Over 4,000 guests, 200 food and beverage vendors, media and celebrity hosts gathered to enjoy tastings, listen to music and participate in the auction and opportunity drawing. A beautiful evening was enjoyed by all, thanks to the donated talents of your decor firm dressing up the new party footprint. The event raised a record-breaking $330,000 which will benefit the new CRES facility at the Wild Animal Park. The proceeds will also benefit the research projects of our dedicated scientists at CRES in their constant efforts to support endangered species in their natural habitats.
